What mobile phone best-seller in U.S.?

Although fighting hobbled market share in Europe and Asia, but domestic producers are still number one as a mobile phone maker in the United States of America.

For the United States of America mobile phone market, Nokia still was leading followed by Motorola and Samsung.

According to comScore to rank based handset maker mobile customers age 13 and older, putting Motorola phones market share 23.5% in the U.S.A. between September and December 2009.

While LG and Samsung in is the second and third position, with 21.9% and 21.2% market share. Nokia was in fourth place (9.2% market share), while RIM occupies 7.0% in the fifth.

But in the realm of Smartphone’s, conditions are very different. RIM leads U.S. Smartphone market with a 41.6% market share.

Apple in is the second position with 25.3% followed by Microsoft and the Windows Mobile platform with 18.0%, and Palm with 6.1%.

Google Android on the fifth with 5.2%, but its market share nearly doubled compared to the previous month.

Other interesting findings there are about 234 million people age 13 and older who use mobile phones in the U.S.A. in December last year.

As many as 63.1% of them using SMS, 27.5% to buzz web, while 21.6% play games.
